n\u00e9gatif<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Une \u00e9tude r\u00e9cente men\u00e9e par des chercheurs du Scripps Research Institute met en lumi\u00e8re le traitement du cancer du sein triple n\u00e9gatif, l&rsquo;un des types de cancer les plus difficiles \u00e0 traiter. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">La recherche s&rsquo;est concentr\u00e9e sur des mol\u00e9cules appel\u00e9es microARN, qui aident \u00e0 r\u00e9guler l&rsquo;expression des g\u00e8nes et le d\u00e9veloppement des prot\u00e9ines. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Les scientifiques se sont particuli\u00e8rement int\u00e9ress\u00e9s au microARN-96, une mol\u00e9cule g\u00eanante qui, dans certaines \u00e9tudes, a \u00e9t\u00e9 li\u00e9e \u00e0 plusieurs types de cancers et d&rsquo;autres maladies.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">La recherche de Scripps a utilis\u00e9 un compos\u00e9 appel\u00e9 targaprimir-96 qui cible le microARN-96 dans les cellules canc\u00e9reuses du sein, ce qui conduit \u00e0 l&rsquo;apoptose, un processus dans lequel les cellules endommag\u00e9es ou mut\u00e9es sont d\u00e9sactiv\u00e9es. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Apr\u00e8s une \u00e9tude de 21 jours sur des animaux de laboratoire, les chercheurs ont conclu que le compos\u00e9 r\u00e9duisait la production de microARN-96, ce qui encourageait les mauvaises cellules \u00e0 se tuer et ralentissait la croissance tumorale. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Les chercheurs ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que les cellules normales m\u00e9decine de pr\u00e9cision, car cette mol\u00e9cule ne tue que les cellules canc\u00e9reuses exprimant le g\u00e8ne canc\u00e9rig\u00e8ne, pas les cellules saines\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Matthew Disney, chercheur chez Scripps, dans un communiqu\u00e9.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Formes apparent\u00e9es de cancer du sein.<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">La plupart des cancers du sein sont positifs pour le r\u00e9cepteur des \u0153strog\u00e8nes (ER positif), le r\u00e9cepteur de la progest\u00e9rone positif (PR positif) ou expriment le g\u00e8ne du r\u00e9cepteur 2 du facteur de croissance \u00e9pidermique humain (HER2 positif). <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Sont souvent des <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">cancers du sein trait\u00e9s ER positif et PR positif, qui repr\u00e9sentent environ les <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">deux tiers de <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">toutes les <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">tumeurs malignes du <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">sein, un <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">traitement hormonal, alors que le traitement anticorps de <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">trastuzumab (Herceptin) monoclonal <\/span><\/span><sup><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u00ae<\/span><\/span><\/sup><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> ) pour le <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">traitement du <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">cancer du sein HER2 positif. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Ces traitements sont souvent associ\u00e9s \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres traitements, comme la chimioth\u00e9rapie et\/ou la chirurgie du cancer du sein.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Le cancer du sein triple n\u00e9gatif tire son nom de l&rsquo;absence de marqueurs du cancer du sein ER, PR et HER2. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Elle est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement trait\u00e9e par une combinaison de chimioth\u00e9rapie, de chirurgie et\/ou de radioth\u00e9rapie. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Mais sans ces marqueurs, les oncologues n&rsquo;ont pas d&rsquo;hormone ou de g\u00e8ne sp\u00e9cifique \u00e0 cibler dans le cadre d&rsquo;un sch\u00e9ma th\u00e9rapeutique plus pr\u00e9cis, ce qui rend le traitement du type de cancer plus difficile. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Le cancer du sein triple n\u00e9gatif est plus fr\u00e9quent chez les femmes de moins de 50 ans et chez de nombreuses femmes qui ont h\u00e9rit\u00e9 d&rsquo;une mutation du g\u00e8ne BRCA1. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Il est \u00e9galement plus r\u00e9pandu chez les femmes afro-am\u00e9ricaines que chez les femmes blanches ou
